it was monday night…i fell asleep after an eventful long day of labor day and from the weekend.
my dad was in the passenger seat, Curtis was in the back seat, and i was driving my car. we were on our way to SF to go do a revival conference that LW was holding. i remember we were rushing to leave because i was going to be late sound checking for worship and that i had the team to set up already for me. as soon as we got on the highway there was mad traffic. traffic as in you just sit there and wait and wait and wait. since we were rushing, i went off to the emergency side and drove pass through everyone on the highway [felt great lol] as soon as we got to the Caldecott tunnel [if you’ve ever drove on 24 you will know what i’m talking about to get to my house] there was no lights in the tunnel and my lights on the car wasn’t working for some reason. there was still traffic. was vulnerable and a bit scared because i wanted to go back but obviously that wasn’t a choice. as we were almost near the end of the tunnel [finally] we saw downtown sf. [now normally after the tunnel you can see sf and downtown from a far distance depending on the weather and etc] but sf looked so close and big. i kept my eyes focused to go to sf because we were in a hurry. within matter of seconds, we teleported and was already sf while there was still traffic on the highway going to sf! all of us were in awe and lost for words of what just happened and that God had just done haha. i’ve always wanted to teleport because reading stories in the bible and hearing testimonies of it…and now i’ve got to experience it. we arrived to SF within matter of 15 min from a stop and go traffic! we were sharing how and amazing it was w everyone. the revival session was just out.of.control.status. i saw just a room filled with people who were so hungry and desperate to meet the father come and experience him in a new way. it was so good. mm.
i remember waking up around 5am that morning from the dream and the lord pressed into my heart to start interceding and encounter him. i picked up my guitar and started to just go in depth of his presence. i asked God what he wanted to show and speak to me. this is what he said.
“you like many others are eager to always constantly wanting me that you’d do whatever it takes to meet me at that moment. when you go into the tunnel like how it was in the dream, it was dark, cold, and just not knowing where to go or how far you should go. you get vulnerable, worried, wanting to turn around and go back, but you don’t because in the end of that tunnel..I’m waiting for you. my son Jesus is waiting for you. you run out from the tunnel and just how you saw sf so close and big in the same way Jesus is that big and even bigger. you’re so eager and wanting to see him, meet him, love on him, be with him and you can only look ahead but it feels like there’s this wall blocking you. all this time, it was you running into Jesus. I’ve been waiting for you for so long to come to this place of intimacy with you. all you needed to do is look up. as you look up, our eyes are fixed on each other and my heart burns and longs for you my son. as long as you continue to keep your eyes fixed on me i will take you where you need to go, have faith and press on my son.” i don’t think i’ve ever felt this type of deep intimacy with the God before in my life until now!
you see, i believe God is stirring not just few, a group, or even yet just a church to be called into the place of intimacy with the father as sons and daughters, but he’s calling this generation to take the stand and go into that place. it’s time not only we know who we are within the Lord as his sons and daughters but start taking ownership of it! start declaring the very promises and truth over your own life when the enemy tries to throw in lies at you. you must start to declare with the God given authority he has given us! the very difference between what makes us and the enemy is not only the blood of Jesus, grace, and unconditional love which is all true but that fact he has given us authority from heaven which the enemy cannot touch, will not touch, and won’t ever have. he has to obey it. there’s more to say but man i challenge you to live the life of intimacy with the father. the shift has begun. get ready. yes.
father, i pray for a release of intimacy to overflow God from your heart. we need you more than anything. we want you more and more. stir up the river and let it flow.
