i reflect back on 2011. a year of growth, brokeness, intimacy, heartaches, joy, mourning, perseverance, and hardship. i came into this new year knowing what i wanted this year. not as a goal or resolution type but an actual lifestyle that is evident. there are 3 major things i’ve been praying for and will be fasting for this new year which i’m really excited about.

it’s been 4 months since my grandmother passed away and almost hitting the 2 year mark for my grandfather. i always think about them constantly and how they used to be so involved and part of my life but not anymore. it feels weird at times. they both told me to “always love God and love others with a humble heart. be who God created you to be.” those words will never fall away...
